Spring Court was one of the first tennis shoes designed for the clay court. Created in 1936 by Georges Grimmeisen, it was easily recognizable by the four ventilation holes in its midsole. Fast forward to the 1960s, when Spring Court made its way off the court and on to the streets. It was not long before Spring Court found their way onto the feet of the one and only, John Lennon. Lennon was so fond of his Spring Court shoes, he wore them to his wedding with Yoko Ono, and on the cover of the legendary Abbey Road album. If they are good enough for The Beatles, they are good enough for us. We know you will fall in love with these cult classics.
